So, I’ve been a member for 3+ years. And I’ve been using this merchant for my waxes for around 5 years. I was charged a “no show” fee a few days ago (which I have never been charged in the years of being serviced) because I forgot about my appointment.. The owner was supposed to call me to discuss the discrepancies of my appointment but of course she did not after several days.. Also, instead of giving me a warning or a courtesy refund, the owner thought best to keep the $25 no show fee instead of refunding me and banking on the guaranteed $35+ a month that I’ve been paying for my services for years. Not a smart business move. The owner should be more humble and show more humility..especially to loyal customers. I told my sister and my GF about the situation and they’re also canceling their memberships. Not to mention the receptionist at the queens village location who I was talking to over the phone was very dismissive and rude. Ladies, tighten up

My experience was amazing. The ladies are very professional and helpful. They were flexible with my appointment today when I arrived I was greeted and checked in immediately. Within 5 minutes my waxer was coming to bring me back she was very informative, friendly, very good at waxing, and she was very pretty and clean. I'll be visiting again soon. Also I was informed about the after care this almond scrub is 10x better than the sugar scrub and the gel is fast drying and doesn’t leave greasy residue

I was a client here for over 2 years but recently I canceled my subscription because the quality & professionalism has gone down. I used to love supporting a small business, but it has been more than just a hassle. After my wax lady left a few months ago, I tried to stick it out because of their great price for a Brazilian if you have their Peach Card subscription. I have gone to both their queens village location & their south st location but i feel recently their whole atmosphere has changed, specifically in queens village. Over the last 3 months I noticed high turnover rate of wax specialists, rude front desk staff, and higher wait times for my appointment. They have a policy of a 3 min grace period for appointments, yet when I arrived (early or on time) I would wait 10+ mins even when it was not busy/no one before me. I am a patient person, so 2-3 mins I don’t mind…But 10 is when I have an issue, especially when I am on time. I have always had issues rescheduling even when it’s not last minute, but many times the receptionist does not even answer the phone. Sometimes you must go through their text line, which usually does not respond until several hours later. Communication is unprofessional more times than not, in person or over the phone. When having a service done I would ask for the fan to be moved/wax to be cooler, yet the last couple of times it was always super hot regardless if I had mentioned it. I had several wax specialists in the past ask me each appointment if I wanted a belly strip done, yet the last couple of times they would do it without asking (which I don’t appreciate because I have sensitive skin). There were multiple occurrences that I would have wax residue in sensitive places that I felt could’ve been avoided. Just overall very disappointed and felt more like a number than a customer. I will take my business elsewhere.

I highly recommend The Naked Peach for waxing services! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The esthetician took the time to understand my preferences and ensure that I was comfortable during the procedure. The waxing was done with precision and minimal discomfort. I left the salon feeling smooth and satisfied. Great job!

Let me start off by saying I’ve been a client here for almost 5 years. Although Angie was formerly my wax tech at the South St. location, the boutique manager made sure I was well taken care of and rebooked with another wax tech. Recently, I went to Kate who was amazing! Their entire staff is always so welcome, professional and accommodating.

Unfortunately after a long year of services, I will admit that the few reasons why I stayed is because the tech I preferred was kind. I have stopped services by writing a letter. It's no longer enough to have me continue seeking Brazilian wax services there at this specific location. For first timers, it's pleasant enough where if you're flexible with time, go for it; however (and I hope the business reading this will do better), there are 2 beauticians at this time who try very hard not to leave any wax residue leftover. I have gone to every person because I wanted a thorough experience before leaving a review, but now understand what unsatisfied customers have been saying about this place being unprofessional. Their communication is strangely disconnected and too inconsiderate while relying on technology (as many businesses) while they refuse to take accountability. If that doesn't matter much to you, then this would be no problem. The membership seems great only if your time is flexible and try not to book before lunch break because you will heighten the risks of coming across a situation where you will be screwed over (example: lunch break happened early or later and you're stuck in a time-wasting waiting situation). The fine print on the website and disclosures are tricky and they try to do things that cover any liability, but they will not treat customers with FULL respect. Not a huge deal, but serious enough for this review to be written. Be very careful with this place. Calculate and follow through as much as you can. Their liability tactic is scam-like, but if you're careful, you'll be ok. If you don't have or can't make the time to deal with any possible issues, I'd highly recommend just not going to this place altogether. Good luck and tip your tech... the business is just not all that trustworthy and its a shame because supporting smaller businesses should made safe, but not this one entirely.
